Grinding

The Grinding workshop is one of the main activities here at ADR, a know-how that has been passed down for almost a hundred years.

The machined parts are grinded to achieve the desired level of precision. Indeed, our machines (STUDER, VOUMARD, etc.) are capable of producing parts with a precision down to the micron.

During these operations, the parts are checked to ensure that the tolerance and size meet the customers’ specifications.

Historically, ADR manufactured miniature ball bearings. Nowadays, the range of bearings with small section and diameters greater than 420 mm is under development.

Each new employee joining the team benefits from specific and progressive training through tutoring since this profession is unique and specific to our activity.
